Job Description

Reporting to the Finance BP Lead, the incumbent will perform the following range of duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and reporting per stipulated deadlines
  • Analyse and deliver meaningful insights of financial numbers to support management to drive business performance
  • Perform budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Review and implement business processes and changes to improve operational productivity, cost efficiency and company profitability
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations
  • Monitor net working capital, cash flow and capital employed, highlight bad trending and support management to strengthen the balance sheet and reduce the cash conversion cycle
  • Ensure accurate and timely submissions to IRAS, including corporate income tax, GST and property tax filings, and transfer pricing documentations per statutory deadlines
  • Handle insurance renewals and claims, and internal and external financial audits
  • Any other ad-hoc duties and projects as and when assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or its equivalent
  • Musthave at least 3 years of experience in a business partner role preferably in the manufacturing and/or MRO industry
  • Familiar with SAP ECC FI, CO, MM and CS modules
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Power Query, Power BI and Think-cell
  • Strong analytical skills, loves details and is a hands-on person who can handle details
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Able to lead and motivate team members, engage with both external parties and internal customers from all departments, and facilitate/bridge operations to other Finance function teams
  • Comfortable to propose, justify, initiate and implement changes
  • Able to multi-task and work well in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
  • Independent and self-driven
