GRI is a leading specialty tire producer in Sri Lanka. We have been supplying tires to more than 100 countries worldwide since 2002. GRI has sales offices in the United States, Europe, and Australia. We produce high-performance tires for Agriculture, Material Handling, and Construction vehicles.

The Assistant Manager Finance will support accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury operations, and management decision-making through robust financial analysis. The role plays a critical part in budgeting, performance monitoring, cash flow management, cost optimization, and continuous improvement of finance operations in Singapore. The position requires close coordination with the Sri Lankabased team.

Applicants must be eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents).

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of one (1) year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, cash flow statements, and profit & loss (P&L) reports.
  • Support annual statutory audits and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accounting systems, ensuring accurate and authorized recording of transactions.
  • Manage accounts receivable, debtor ageing, and customer statements.
  • Actively chase collections and follow up on overdue receivables to support healthy cash flow.
  • Process supplier payments accurately and in a timely manner, in line with approval limits and internal controls.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and liaise with banks on operational matters.
  • Support day-to-day treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring and payment controls.
  • Prepare and analyze Management Information System (MIS) and management reports.
  • Support budgeting processes and conduct variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory and tax requirements.
  • Prepare and submit GST returns accurately and on time.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Banking.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA / ISCA) preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant post-graduation experience.
  • Strong ERP experience is mandatory; Acumatica experience is an advantage.
  • Proven hands-on experience in treasury operations, collections, and payment processing.

Working Hours

The role may require flexibility in working hours, including additional hours beyond normal working hours as reasonably necessary to meet business, operational, or reporting requirements.
