We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Assistant Manager Finance to join our team in Singapore. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing budgeting processes, monitoring financial performance, optimizing cost efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in financial operations. This position is based at our office in Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, cash flow statements, and profit & loss (P&L) reports.
- Attend annual audits and ensure timely completion.
- Update and maintain the accounting system with payments and receipts, ensuring all transactions are properly authorized and recorded.
- Manage debtors and maintain accurate ledgers, including customer statements.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Generate and analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Prepare budgets and conduct variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including tax obligations.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Banking.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ISCA.
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience in a relevant field.
