Assistant Finance Manager

We are working with an established real estate organisation to appoint an Assistant Finance Manager to support financial reporting, statutory compliance, and planning activities across a portfolio of properties.

This role provides hands-on exposure to entity-level reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and audit coordination, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers within a regulated real estate environment.

Key responsibilities include:
. Managing month-end and quarter-end close processes for property-holding and investment entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
. Preparing analytical reviews and variance analysis on operating results, budgets, and forecasts
. Supporting annual budgeting exercises, quarterly forecasts, and ongoing cash flow projections for real estate assets
. Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
. Coordinating indirect tax and corporate tax submissions, ensuring compliance with local regulations
. Acting as a key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, trustees, and professional service providers
. Supporting finance-led projects, process improvements, and ad-hoc initiatives related to portfolio reporting and controls

Requirements:
. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACCA or equivalent)
. 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit, or accounting roles, preferably within Real Estate/ REIT would be preferred
. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reporting timelines
. Comfortable working independently while partnering with internal stakeholders across finance, asset management, and operations
. Proactive, organised, and able to adapt in a fast-paced, reporting-driven environment
