Assistant Manager, Festive Operations to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the end-to-end execution of seasonal retail campaigns, including planning, launch, and post-campaign review
- Coordinate timelines across departments (Culinary, Pastry, Marketing, Procurement) to ensure all milestones are met
- Track campaign progress, ensuring readiness of products, marketing materials, and stock availability
- Oversee daily operations of festive retail outlets, pop-ups, and booths, ensuring smooth processes and excellent service
- Manage order processing, payment handling, and ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of retail and bulk orders
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and support demand forecasting to minimise wastage and stockouts
- Coordinate logistics for packing, storage, and delivery while maintaining operational efficiency
- Support achievement of seasonal sales targets across all channels (in-store, online, corporate) and identify upselling opportunities
- Track daily sales performance and provide regular updates and insights to management
- Ensure product quality and consistency through close collaboration with Culinary and Pastry teams, including quality checks on packaging and presentation
- Deliver a seamless and premium customer experience, handling enquiries, feedback, and VIP or corporate requests professionally
- Supervise festive retail staff, including temporary hires and promoters; support rostering, training, and maintain a positive, high-performing team environment
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and orders, and support reporting, budgeting, and cost tracking for festive campaigns
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in retail, hospitality, or F&B operations, with exposure to seasonal or festive retail campaigns (e.g. mooncakes, hampers, holiday gifting)
- Demonstrated ability to support the execution of retail strategies that drive sales performance, enhance customer experience, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Good understanding of retail fundamentals, including merchandising, inventory control, order management, and basic financial awareness (sales tracking, cost control)
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and omnichannel retail operations, including online order processing and coordination with delivery partners
- Proven team supervision skills, with the ability to guide frontline staff, temporary hires, and promoters during peak festive periods
- Strong organisational and coordination abilities, with experience managing multiple tasks and stakeholders across departments (e.g. Culinary, Marketing, Procurement)
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills to monitor sales performance, identify operational gaps, and support decision-making
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, particularly during peak festive seasons, while maintaining attention to detail and service standards
- High level of adaptability, resilience, and hands-on approach, with a willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays as required during campaign periods
- Strong command of spoken and written English is required. Proficiency in a second language such as mandarin is an advantage as the role involves regular interaction with Chinese‑speaking customers and corporate clients, as well as coordination with business counterparts who communicate primarily in Chinese. This is necessary to ensure accurate communication, effective service delivery, and smooth execution of festive retail operations.
