Overview
The Corporate Planning & Performance Management department supports JurongHealth Campus Chief Financial Officer in the development, implementation, execution and monitoring of corporate strategy in line with NUHS cluster direction:
- Provide managerial, administrative and project management support to develop and achieve JurongHealth Campus key strategic goals.
- Develop and implement strategic and planning processes and initiatives for JurongHealth Campus
- Monitor implementation of strategic plans and report status to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain systems to provide data and information in support of planning and strategy development.
- Work with relevant departments and stakeholders to identify trends, needs and opportunities important to achieving JurongHealth Campus goals.
- Ensure compliance to MOH licensing requirements for hospitals and medical clinics.
- Administer, organise, integrate, and evaluate the activities of the department, including formulating and administering policies, plans, budgets and initiatives.
Responsibilities- Organisational Planning and Performance Management
- Assists to plan and organise the annual planning process for JurongHealth Campus;
- Assists in the preparation and organisation of reviews of the JurongHealth Campus strategic plan and scorecard, including the preparation and review of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets;
- Assists to implement plans to cascade the JurongHealth Campus strategy maps and scorecards to departments, and provide support to departments where required;
- Monitors and tracks progress of key corporate initiatives and KPIs and assists in the reporting and analysis of the business performance against targets.
- Information Management and Analytics
- Assist in the maintenance of database systems and dashboards and corporate document repositories for planning and decision making, including corporate information, operational information, utilization data and benchmarking data.
- Assist to Implement processes for timely submission and accurate collation of hospital utilization reports to management and MOH.
- Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc reports and analyses.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Works with relevant divisions to ensure that the organisation complies with MOH regulatory requirements, which include the MOH public hospital governance framework and hospital and medical clinic licensing framework.
- Assists in the preparation and coordination of organisation-wide regulatory submissions and inspection/audit programmes for MOH licensing of hospitals and medical clinics.
- Assists in the management of the organisation-wide framework that guides the approval, circulation and deposition of JurongHealth Campus policies, procedures, work instructions and forms; and ensures that these are in compliance to licensing requirements.
- Strategic and Ad Hoc Project Management
- Assists in managing departmental level or organizational level projects assigned; working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- A good Bachelor degree; preferably with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare administration
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in healthcare management or strategic planning
- Direct work experience in a healthcare institution, or with data analytics, strategic planning or audit/licensing experience will be advantageous
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and possess data extraction and mining capabilities
