POSITION: Assistant Manager - Electrical
BASIC SALARY: $4,750 - $5,000
ALLOWANCES: $200 - $1,100
Working Days: 5 Days work week (Mon-Fri)
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage assigned projects including planning, scheduling, coordinating and overseeing detailed phases of project execution
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Liaise with internal departments, clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors to review designs and implement recovery plans where necessary
- Support the Project Manager in contract administration, claims, variation orders, disputes and final accounts
- Mentor and guide new project staff, monitor their performance and provide on-the-job coaching during work execution
- Submit regular progress reports to management on project timelines and targets
- Ensure full safety compliance on assigned projects in accordance with MOM WSHA requirements
Requirements:
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of relevant M&E experience with strong technical knowledge
- Familiar with relevant codes of practice
- Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Possess a valid Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS) certification
- Candidates with subcontractor background and hands-on electrical experience in commercial or large-scale facilities projects will be preferred
