About the Role:
The role is responsible for leading the digitalization and transformation of distribution and logistics cost reporting, analytics, and data governance across third-party logistics and transportation partners. The position focuses on building structured, scalable, automated, and system-driven reporting capabilities to replace manual, invoice-driven processes, enabling timely insights, stronger cost control, and informed decision making.
In parallel, this position will oversee third-party logistics performance and vendor engagement while driving transformation initiatives, process standardization, and automation to improve financial decision making, operational efficiency, and scalability across the distribution network.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
- Provide leadership to the Distribution & Logistics team by setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, with a strong focus on capability building in analytics, digital tools, and process improvement.
- Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to align logistics and distribution goals, especially for digitalization and transformation initiatives.
Cost Reporting and Analytics
- Own the end-to-end design, governance, and continuous improvement of distribution and logistics cost reporting across all vendors and transport modes.
- Lead the transformation of manual, invoice-driven reporting into automated, system-integrated data workflows, reducing dependency on spreadsheet-based consolidation.
- Partner with IT and external vendors to enable data integration from invoices, freight systems, and 3PL platforms into scalable reporting solutions.
- Act as business owner for logistics cost data, including requirements definition, validation rules, reconciliation logic, and automation design.
- Translate operational and commercial data into forward looking insights for budget planning, productivity tracking, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Drive continuous enhancement of analytics capability in line with evolving technology, shifting the function from transactional reporting to digital decision support and predictive insights.
Third-Party Logistics & Vendor Governance
- Oversee 3PLs, transporters, and freight forwarders, monitoring SLA and KPI compliance, addressing discrepancies, and driving CAPA initiatives.
- Monthly and quarterly business reviews with the 3PL and transport providers are carried out along with commercial and operational engagement.
- Conduct twice yearly RRC stock reconciliations, validate vendor invoices, and provide financial provisions for unbilled logistics expenses.
- Lead RFP and tender processes to secure qualified logistics partners.
- Maintain effective commercial and operational engagement through quarterly business reviews.
- Support vendor consolidation and cost optimization initiatives through data insights
Inventory Management
- Plan, review, and manage inventory processes with a focus on process standardization, digital controls, and continuous improvement.
- Plan and execute cycle-count RRC spare parts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Provide insight into inventory costs, write-off trends, and aging status, and propose necessary action plans to optimize inventory management.
Distribution, Freight & Marine Cargo Management
- Manage commercial and operational relationships with local transporters, ensure compliance with GDPMDS requirements, and review performance regularly.
- Oversee freight forwarder performance, validate billing against agreed global bidding rates, and provide monthly updates to the regional team.
- Track freight and logistics costs, conduct periodic cost analysis to support operational and financial decision making.
- Oversee marine cargo insurance and claims management.
Compliance and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure adherence to OSP QMS and GDPMDS requirements across all 3PL operations, driving continuous improvement and maintaining zero audit findings.
- Strengthening warehouse, logistics, and inventory processes through process re-engineering, SOP and WI enhancements, to improve efficiency, control, and scalability.
- Support strategic initiatives and projects related to warehouse, logistics, and distribution as assigned by the Senior Manager.

What We Are Looking For:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree, preferably majoring in supply chain or logistics management.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations working experience, preferably with exposure to logistics and distribution processes and transformation.
- Strong leadership to effectively oversee and manage the function.
- Analytical skills to solve operational problems and perform detailed reporting and data analysis.
- Ability to present data clearly to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Experience in cost modeling, logistics cost analysis, or tracking financial performance in supply chain operations.
- Effective communication and collaboration, demonstrating a flexible mindset and team-oriented approach.
- Working knowledge of SAP and solid understanding of GDPMDS or ISO13485 standard.
