Assistant Manager (Design), Workspace

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1 . Fulfil the role of a designer and collaborate on all JustCo projects from programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction review, defects management to improvements upon completion.

• Develop & confirm design brief based on stakeholders requirements
• Conceptualise and develop design ideas that inspire and excite.
• Design specifications and selection including materials, furniture and fittings
• Design development including 3D renderings and tender documentation
• Design management during tender and construction including site verification, review and approval of samples, mock-ups and alternative design solutions
• Defects management, improvement proposal and photo shoot assistance upon construction completion

2 . Manage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders and the respective requirements to achieve overall project objectives of time, cost & quality.

3 . Contribute to workplan and initiatives of Workspace

• Research & development of design ideas, materials, furniture & fittings to improve JustCo design in general
• Assists/Manages design guidelines and specifications of JustCo Design

Prerequisites for the role include:

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in Interior Design consultancy
• Proficient in CAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, Enscape and Illustrator
• Creative mind, with a good range of design language and visual storytelling sensibility
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong design and stakeholders management skills
• Relentless and detailed mindset to undertake multiple tasks
• Able to work independently, self-driven and a strong team player
