Job Description

Join a globally established life insurer with a strong presence across Asia and expertise in High Net Worth (HNW) insurance solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance operations or customer service professional to step into a highly visible role supporting HNW clients and intermediaries within a collaborative and fast-paced environment as an Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day servicing and policy administration activities for HNW life insurance policies
  • Handle complex policy alterations, financial transactions, and operational approvals
  • Manage customer and intermediary enquiries across multiple service channels, including complaint investigations and resolution
  • Support regulatory, audit, and back-book review projects, as well as operational improvement initiatives
  • Monitor service KPIs, turnaround times, quality metrics, and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance customer and intermediary experience
  • Support team capability building, coaching, and process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, AML/CDD standards, and internal controls

Requirements

  • Degree qualified with at least 8 years of experience within life insurance operations, customer service, or policy administration
  • Ability to read and communicate in Chinese to support Chinese-language documentation and client enquiries
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products and policy servicing processes
  • Experience handling HNW customers or intermediaries will be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of AML, CDD, and risk controls preferred
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word Exposure to Power BI is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-centric mindset
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
  • ALMI / ACS qualifications are advantageous
