JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Risk Monitoring & Reporting To prepare high quality deliverables and meet reporting timelines set by relevant stakeholders. Duties include:
- Monitor, review and prepare periodic reports to identify accounts with overdue/ arrear or excesses under Global Banking (GB) and Commercial Banking Division (CBD).
- Follow-up with Business Units to ensure appropriate actions are taken to manage higher-risk accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all regulatory and management reports on Special Mention (SM) accounts.
- Respond to queries and provide reports to Head Office, regulators and auditors on a timely basis.
- Review reports, processes and other deliverables with stakeholders on an ongoing basis to streamline and enhance efficiency.
- Participate in system / process enhancements initiatives relating to non-performing loans, SM tagging and past-due monitoring, as required.
- Support and participate in industry/sectoral review of corporate banking loan portfolio Business Operations and Support Take ownership of the quality and accuracy of work for the team relating to Operations & Support functions:
- Tagging/untagging of loan grading for non-performing loans, Restructured & Rescheduled and SM accounts.
- Perform checking of payments processing and passing of GL entries.
- Perform checking of passing of GL entries for Write off accounts and bad debts recovered. To monitor the closing of accounts and other related work. Supervisory Duties To supervise and guide the Credit Monitoring team:
- On the job training and knowledge sharing with team member to ensure timely and accurate preparation of deliverables.
- Setting team KPI and perform appraisal Administrative Duties To support Remedial team and Business Credit Quality Committee (BCQC) Secretariat and administrative functions for Remedial Management (REM) team:
- Organize BCQC meetings.
- Collate and review meeting pack from relevant units for submission to BCQC attendees.
- Provide BCQ minutes and meeting pack to auditors and relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements
- Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related field.
- Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint). Excel skills include Pivot table and LOOKUP functions.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Banking industry.
- Experience with Silverlake Integrated Banking System is an advantage, but not a requirement. On the job training will be provided.
- Analytical skills to extract data from datasets, identify trends or errors in data.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet reporting and other deadlines.
- A team player with positive attitude and professionalism.
- Possess a strong work ethic, high level of integrity and ethics.
