Corporate Secretarial, Assistant Manager

Intro:
You will be responsible for providing leadership on managing a portfolio of clientele which includes Singapore incorporated entities or registered Singapore branch of foreign companies and offshore entities (i.e. Cayman Island and BVI) in areas of compliance to the relevant legislations and regulations as well as procedural advisory work. You are also responsible for upselling and cross-selling our services to existing and potential clients. You will work closely with the local team in an effective manner to motivate and coach the team, to continuously meet clients expectations, to optimize the work process and to maintain close contacts with key clients.
Some of the things you'll be doing:
Manage the full spectrum of corporate secretarial matters for clients under your care and ensure statutory and compliance issues are met
Preparing necessary documents or supporting work where applicable for company/foreign branch formations/registrations as well as for offshore entities (ie. Cayman Island and BVI), Board resolutions/meetings, corporate actions documents, etc
Filing of client entity annual return and financial statements with ACRA as well as lodging changes that required to be updated with ACRA on client entities
Attend to auditors queries on behalf of clients and liaise with them in preparation for statutory audit
Assistance in assessing work procedures, providing feedbacks/suggestions for improvements and implementing improvement process, where necessary
Perform certain administration tasks pertaining to the clients or internal procedures
Actively interact with clients and counter parties including legal counsels, auditors and tax advisor to meet key deliveries
Responsible for onboarding of new clients, ongoing monitoring and conducting client due diligence checks
Actively involve beyond the surface follow up on debtor's management of client outstanding invoices.
To engage as relationship bridge between the client and the Compliance team on the various annual file review challenges in updating and verifying information needs as well manage the information needs optimally
Build and maintain relationship and service quality, responsible achieving yearly team performance target
Coach and train team members to enable them to carry out their roles effectively and efficiently
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need
Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) qualification or those pursuing, as well as Diploma in Business Administration/Commerce/Law with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in corporate secretarial practice
Experience in handling offshore entities (i.e. Cayman Island and BVI) will be an advantage Meticulous individual with strong sense of responsibility, pro-active client servicing aptitude and basic commercial acumen
Strong team player with positive working attitude, able to work independently and multi-task
Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Viewpoint will be an advantage
Strong sense of responsibility.
