Job Description

We are partnering with a leading regional MNCto hire an Assistant Manager, Consolidation to join its Group Finance team. This is a key role supporting group-wide financial consolidation, reporting, and transformation initiatives across a diverse portfolio of entities spanning Asia and international markets.This role sits within a high-performing consolidation team responsible for delivering accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS and Group reporting standards. You will gain exposure to complex multi-entity structures and play a critical role in driving process improvements and system transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end group consolidation processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and cash flow reporting in compliance with SFRS and Group requirements
  • Review sub-group consolidation submissions across multiple regional business units
  • Perform technical consolidation tasks including foreign currency translation reserve analysis, revenue reserves movements, minority interest and associates proofing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate group close processes across a large portfolio of entities
  • Liaise with external auditors and support statutory audit requirements, including financial statement preparation
  • Review and ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations at group level, resolving issues where required
  • Support data validation and testing activities for a large-scale FCCS implementation project (Phase 2, 100+ entities)
  • Serve as FCCS administrator and support system governance and enhancements
  • Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to transformation initiatives across Group Finance
  • Provide guidance and support to team members and shared services counterpar
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience, ideally a mix of Big 4 audit and commercial/industry exposure. Shipping or logistics experience a plus.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification is required
  • Strong technical knowledge of SFRS and hands-on group consolidation experience across multi-entity structures
  • Prior experience handling consolidation entries for acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in balance sheet reconciliations and issue resolution
  • Exposure to Oracle and/or FCCS is advantageous
  • Self-driven, meticulous, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
