Job Description

About the Role:

In this role, you will support management objectives by delivering sales results and milestones that are important to the organization in a sustainable way. You will measure channel performance and use data collection and analysis to identify opportunities to grow capital and consumables sales. You will also propose and implement short- and mid-term business development strategies to help achieve market potential.

On a regular basis, you will provide sales forecasts through engagement with channel partners and support pre-sales tender submissions, specification references, prospect management, product presentations, event management, demonstration support, and post-sales support such as training and feedback management across multiple communication channels.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Channel Management

This role focuses on channel/partner sales for medical products, services, and solutions to end customers through intermediaries such as distributors and resellers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing new channel partner and distributor relationships, as well as cross-selling, upselling, and repeat sales with existing partners
  • Maintaining and growing relationships with organizations that distribute products, services, and solutions
  • Developing and delivering product demonstrations, sales bids, and presentations to channel partners and distributors
  • Training channel partner or distributor sales teams on product use and sales techniques, where needed
  • Managing relationships with channel partners and distributors
  • Supporting sales and product portfolio planning to increase sales and improve channel efficiency
  • Supporting brand development, communication, activation initiatives, and partner engagement efforts
  • Providing insight and priorities for sales projects based on customer and competitive analysis
  • Developing value propositions and product differentiation strategies that align with business goals and market conditions
  • Ensuring that policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders

Business Development

  • Contributing to achievable goals and objectives for team members through market analysis and reference points
  • Supporting market development by identifying key products aligned with the OSP plan and expanding the business portfolio across vertical and horizontal opportunities
  • Helping build a sustainable business ecosystem in the assigned countries
  • Ensuring that policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders
  • Analyzing performance results, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions to address barriers to achievement
  • Executing the Emerging Market Strategy in line with OCAP/Global EM GTM initiatives
  • Performing other duties assigned by management

What We Are Looking For:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in channel management or account management
  • At least 5 years of sales experience with a strong track record; experience in healthcare, medical devices, or a related field is an advantage
  • Experience in channel management or sales, ideally in a medical, healthcare, or related environment
  • Experience in turnkey project management, preferred
  • Strong understanding of regional hospital procurement processes
  • Understanding of product registration, tender participation, and related strategy
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of the evolving ASEAN market
  • Knowledge of payment terms and tax regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills in a business environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn product-related clinical concepts, including human anatomy and surgical procedures
  • Adaptability in responding to changing internal and external business needs
  • Commitment to good sales governance and ethical sales practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and SAP is an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and resilience
  • Strong written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage
  • Professional interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
