Job Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing gaming audit functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. It provides leadership in audit operations, safeguards gaming revenue integrity, and supports management through insights, reporting, and process improvements. The role also drives automation initiatives and partners with stakeholders to strengthen governance across gaming operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain gaming audit procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. CCA, ICC, PMLTF) and internal standard operating procedures
- Review and supervise daily and ad hoc gaming audits, including audit documentation and reports
- Oversee gaming revenue audit processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with operational policies
- Investigate discrepancies and communicate findings to management; prepare and submit timely audit, revenue, and variance reports to regulatory agencies and management
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls within gaming operations and issue exception reports with recommendations for improvement
- Ensure casino promotional activities (e.g. tournaments, complimentary vouchers) comply with regulatory requirements
- Oversee the preparation and submission of Table Games and Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM) revenue and tax reports to regulatory bodies (e.g. GRA, IRAS, Singapore Totalisator Board)
- Act as a business partner to Management and Heads of Department, providing audit insights and advisory support
- Lead digitalisation and automation initiatives to enhance audit efficiency and controls
- Manage and participate in ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in audit, finance, or gaming operations, including experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Experience in a similar role within a large organisation or service-oriented industry is preferred
- Experience in driving system enhancements, process improvements, or transformation initiatives is an advantage
