Job Description

Job Summary

To support the team leaders and asset management division leadership in delivering comprehensive analysis and reporting on asset performance, financial data, and market trends, contributing to the making of informed decisions and strategic planning.

This role plays a key contributing function in the overall enhancement of capital value, competitiveness, and operational efficiency of the asset management division's portfolio, thereby supporting the division's overall mission and objectives as part of the group.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly updates on asset performance and financial reports, including preliminary analysis and actionable insights.
  • Analyse the performance of assigned properties, focusing on revenue, expenditures, and occupancy trends.
  • Review financial and operational performance to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancement opportunities.
  • Monitor and interpret market trends to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Guide and collaborate with portfolio analysts in executing asset management analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality of assigned tasks, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Research and monitor market news and developments, including performing comparable benchmarking.
  • Manage monthly reporting and quarterly projection processes using tools such as Argus.
  • Prepare management reports and contribute to the design and enhancement of reporting dashboards and reporting templates.
  • Partner with the Operations team to identify and recommend operational improvements and efficiency measures.
  • Analyse key metrics such as leasing performance, expenses, and net operating income (NOI) to assess asset performance.
  • Perform strategic analysis of joint venture entities to enable more optimum group reporting standards for asset management division

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, real estate, or a related field
  • 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in real estate asset management, portfolio analysis and financial reporting
  • Proven track record of asset level performance analysis, budgeting/forecasting and market benchmarking and management across one or more property types
  • Digitally savvy to optimize available technology
  • Strong financial acumen, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • A strong team player with dynamic personality and entrepreneurial mindset.
