Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation accounting tasks in accordance with IFRS.
- Support the consolidated accounting process and drive implementation across ONE's global subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Provide accounting support and consultation to internal stakeholders, including involvement in new projects such as financial due diligence for M&A activities.
- Guide and support the rollout of accounting rules, standards, and processes for regional headquarters (RHQs) and country offices.
- Assist with any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related fields
- CPA or similar professional accounting qualification is preferred.
- Experience in consolidated accounting (global exposure is an advantage).
- Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting systems. SAP experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of valuation, financial due diligence, and accounting treatments (e.g., PPA) related to M&A.
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
- Prior working experience in handling M&A projects.
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the shipping industry is an advantage.
