Assistant Manager (1-year contract), Business Families Institute

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and organise educational programmes under the Business Families Institute.
• Build engagement with the participants.
• Oversees the development and maintenance of communications on all relevant media platforms (includes both print and online).
• Manage collaborative initiatives with industry and external partners/ donors/ sponsors, as well as internal stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree with 2 to 5 years of work experience in pedagogical design, management of educational programmes, event management, digital marketing tools and family business outreach, preferably in an academic institution or training establishment.
• Stakeholder relationship management or experience working in or with family businesses/family offices is preferred.
• Self-motivated individual with excellent written and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Display good digital content management and knowledge in social media platforms.
• Strong project management, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills needed.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated writing and editing capabilities will be an advantage.
• A good team player.

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
