Assistant Machine Engineer (Yishun)

Job Description:

Department: Maintenance Engineering

Reports to: Senior Executive

Functional Relationships with:
Manufacturing Engineering Division members in Murata Company. Production Department, Production Engineering Department members and other related members in Murata group. Relationship with parts supply related members like machine manufacture Vendor and technical related persons.

Position Profile:

Based in: Singapore

Job Site: Yishun

The successful candidate will be exploring the knowledge of machinery maintenance, creating new ideas for machine reliability, safe and conducive working environment

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

. Carry out periodical maintenance for process machinery on schedule.

. Assist immediate breakdown restoration of machine function to achieve production output.

. Support set up of machinery to ensure on time for mass production.

. Carry out corrective maintenance timely accordingly to plan.

. Propose, plan and implement Quality preventive / improvement activities.

. Collaboration with cross function team to achieve organization target.

Ability/Competency Required:

. Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

. At least 1 year working experiences as maintenance engineering is preferred. Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply.

. Strong interpersonal skills, analytical, with a flair for numbers

. Positive attitude in challenging work environment

. Problem solver

. Ability to perform multi-tasking

. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with PowerPoint skills

. Team player and yet able to work independently and pro-actively

. Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule (morning and night shifts required)
