Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers or internal stakeholders.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.

2. Process Improvement & Efficiency

  • Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

  • Support automation and system improvements through Kaizen.

  • Ensure proper documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are maintained and followed.

3. Inventory Control

  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.

  • Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure proper stock rotation and minimize losses or damages.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with transporters, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.

  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Coordinate with internal departments to align logistics activities.

5. Team Supervision

  • Supervise and provide guidance and direction to subordinates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.

  • Interprets and communicates work procedure and company policies to subordinates

  • Provide training and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.

  • Assist in manpower planning and performance monitoring.

  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, ISO and local authorities requirements.

  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.

  • Support audits and ensure proper record-keeping.

7. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs.

  • Analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or relevant field

2. Minimum 4 5 years experience in similar role in inventory, distribution and operation

3. Demonstrate ability to lead and manage a team of staff

4. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills

5. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

6. Excellent communication and leadership abilities

7. Knowledge of IATF16949 / ISO9001 requirements
