Role Purpose(s)

The Assistant HR Manager (Talent & OD) plays a pivotal role in driving enterprise-wide capability building and organisational development initiatives. The role goes beyond traditional learning business partnering to deliver endtoend learning solutions, including learning needs analysis, instructional and courseware design, facilitation, and organisational development interventions. The position also supports talent management strategies and employee engagement programmes to ensure alignment with organisational goals and to foster a highperformance culture.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, implement and continuously enhance learning and development initiatives aligned to organisational capability frameworks and business strategy.
  • Deliver effective, competencybased learning solutions through blended learning approaches, including classroom, virtual, digital and experiential formats.
  • Support enterprise talent management processes, including talent reviews, succession planning, mentoring programmes and leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive organisational development and employee engagement initiatives by translating survey insights and diagnostics into actionable interventions.
  • Partner HR Business Partners, business leaders and external vendors to ensure learning and OD solutions are impactful, relevant and sustainable.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

Learning & Development

  • Conduct learning needs analysis at organisational, functional and individual levels to identify capability gaps and development priorities.
  • Map learning interventions to core competencies and organisational capability frameworks to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Design and develop curricula, courseware and instructional materials that are engaging, relevant and competencybased.
  • Facilitate standup training and workshops for leadership, functional and enterprisewide programmes.
  • Evaluate programme effectiveness using feedback, assessments and impact analysis, and continuously improve learning solutions.
  • Manage external training vendors and partners to ensure quality, consistency and valueformoney delivery.

Talent Management

  • Partner HRBPs and business leaders to support succession planning, career development frameworks and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
  • Contribute to the design and execution of talent review processes, including development of Talent Cards and identification of highpotential employees.
  • Design and manage mentoring programmes to support leadership development, knowledge transfer and employee growth.
  • Support highpotential and leadership development programmes to build a strong pipeline for critical roles.

Organisational Development & Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate and analyse employee engagement surveys, translating findings into practical recommendations and action plans.
  • Work with change agents and business leaders to design and implement initiatives that drive cultural transformation and organisational effectiveness.
  • Plan and organise employee engagement initiatives such as town halls, recognition programmes and teambuilding activities.
  • Facilitate workshops and interventions that support organisational change, team effectiveness and adaptability

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or a related discipline

Working Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development and/or Organisational Development, with exposure to instructional design, facilitation, talent management, mentoring programme design and employee engagement initiatives.
