Our client, a leading US multinational electronics company, is seeking an Assistant HR Manager / HR Manager (APAC) for a temp-to-perm role in Singapore. This is a great opportunity for a driven HR professional to shape people practices across the region, drive HR operations and engagement, and partner with senior leaders to ensure compliance while fostering a strong company culture.
Key Scope:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle administration.
- Manage employee benefits programs and support employees on eligibility, enrolment, and changes.
- Act as a trusted employee relations partner, advising managers and employees on HR policies and practices.
- Lead the new hire orientation program to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience.
- Manage and optimize HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems to support employees and managers.
- Drive the performance review process and maintain accurate employee records.
- Track and manage disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Conduct onboarding, check-in, and offboarding interviews to continuously improve employee engagement.
- Support organizational training & development initiatives and employee recognition programs.
- Organize and manage employee events that enhance company culture.
- Be an advocate of the company&aposs culture, values, and purpose across all levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor&aposs degree in HR, Business, or related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of HR experience in Singapore, preferably in MNC or regional roles.
- Solid HR knowledge across employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR practices to organizational goals.
- High global & cultural awareness to work effectively across diverse teams in APAC.
- Excellent relationship / stakeholder management skills to build trust with leaders and employees alike.
- Hands-on experience with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS).
- A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative professional with good problem-solving skills.
- Able to start work immediately or a short notice is highly preferred
