Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Indian dishes - both traditional and contemporary. Support the Head Chef in daily operations, mise en place, and menu execution.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen inventory and ingredients.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
Contribute ideas to new menu items and kitchen efficiency.
Step up to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Key Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in an Indian kitchen exposure to tandoor or fusion concepts is a bonus.
Passion for Indian cuisine and a willingness to learn progressive styles.
Basic knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, NEA guidelines).
A good team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
