This role reports to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for group consolidation, statutory financial reporting, and SGX disclosures ensuring accurate, timely and compliant reporting under SFRS(I)/IFRS and SGX Listing Rules, with strong governance over the financial close and disclosure process.
This is a highly cross functional and hands-on role and key responsibilities include:
- Group Consolidation & Close: Lead monthly to yearend consolidation across multientity, multicurrency groups; review entity submissions, intercompany eliminations, equity accounting, FX translation, systems, and analytical reviews.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare statutory financial statements, Board/Audit Committee packs, accounting policies, and technical papers; manage new and amended accounting standards.
- SGX Reporting & Disclosure: Ownership of Half-Year/Full Year results announcements, continuous disclosure compliance, ensure adherence to SGX Listing Rules including materiality assessments, IPTs, and support investor/analyst communications.
- Controls, Governance & Audit: Strengthen financial close controls, manage audits, resolve queries, and drive automation and process improvements.
- Other Responsibilities: Oversee XBRL filings, tax pack inputs, Effective Tax Rate analysis, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.
- At least 8-10 years of experience, ideally with experience with Big 4 plus inhouse group consolidation.
- Strong SFRS(I)/IFRS and SGX reporting experience.
- Proficient in consolidation systems (e.g., SAP BPC/Group Reporting) and Excel/PowerPoint.
- Strong stakeholder management and deadlinedriven execution.
