Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and commercially minded individual to lead the financial management of our residential business across Southeast Asia, support new investments and divestments, and provide hands-on guidance to our newly established fund management finance team.

This role partners closely with country teams, JV partners, Group functions (Tax, Treasury, Group Finance, Legal, Investment Management) and senior leadership to deliver strong financial governance, operational performance, and commercial outcomes.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in real estate and fund management, a strong understanding of JV structures, and a proven ability to partner with business and external stakeholders in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Residential portfolio management

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the regional residential portfolio. Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting to stakeholders.
  • Work with country heads and local teams to evaluate project performance, manage risks, and drive profitability.
  • Provide financial leadership on pricing strategies, sales performance analysis, project cost reviews, and portfolio performance.
  • Work closely with Group Treasury and JV teams to negotiate with banks on project financing.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, compliance frameworks, and audit processes across all operating entities and JVs.
  • Partner closely with JV partners to address commercial and financial matters.
  • Participate in JV board and/or committee meetings, representing the company's financial perspective and safeguarding shareholder interests.

2. Fund management

  • Provide guidance on the design and implementation of:
  • Reporting processes, including reporting requirements in line with INREV or as otherwise required by investors.
  • Ensuring readiness for capital calls, distributions, and board/IC routines.


3. Investment support

  • Work closely with Investment Management and other functional teams to assess new opportunities including on deal structuring, financial and tax due diligence.
  • Work closely with country teams on divestments in markets outside of Singapore.

4. Leadership and mentorship

  • Lead and mentor regional finance teams to strengthen technical competencies, and collaboration.
  • Coach team members and support their development in areas such as financial analysis and stakeholder management.
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on complex / cross-functional issues.

5. Others - other adhoc analysis and tasks.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in real estate.
  • Strong experience working in fund management and with joint ventures, including governance, reporting, and stakeholder management.
  • Strategic business acumen, excellent analytical, and commercial evaluation skills.
  • Proven track record in regional roles, managing multiple entities across different markets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.Ability to operate in a dynamic, multicultural, matrix environment.
