Assistant Finance Manager

Location: West (Company transport provided)

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to support a dynamic finance team in a reputable offshore engineering company. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to expand their exposure to group-level finance operations and regional reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Group Consolidation & Reporting

• Perform monthly consolidation of group financials
• Submit monthly reports to HQ
• Prepare quarterly result announcements
• Review financials from overseas subsidiaries
• Assist in enhancing group policies and financial processes

Fixed Assets Management

• Record acquisitions and disposals in the accounting system
• Tag and track fixed assets appropriately
• Perform monthly depreciation runs and ensure accuracy
• Maintain movement schedules and reconciliation reports
• Conduct periodic physical inventory of fixed assets

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a recognized professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA)
• At least 10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in shipyard or construction industries
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes
• Familiarity with Singapore GST regulations and the Major Exporter Scheme (MES) is a plus
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and communication skills
