Assistant Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of finance and accounting functions, such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audits. Develop and execute financial strategies, alongside cost-control measures and performance targets to facilitate business growth. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in alignment with IFRS and local standards. Oversee cash flow, treasury operations, intercompany settlements, and funding activities. Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and variance analysis monitor financial KPIs and operational performance. Collaborate with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies concerning all statutory and compliance matters. Ensure adherence to Singapore Companies Act, ACRA, and IRAS requirements. Maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation procedures. Support board and management reporting, including preparation of resolutions, statutory filings, and AGM/Board papers.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration CPA/ACCA/CA qualification preferred. At least 8-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of Singapore Companies Act, ACRA, IRAS filing, and corporate governance standards. Proficient in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel). Excellent leadership, analytical abilities, and communication skills, demonstrating high attention to detail and integrity.
