Assistant Finance Manager
We are seeking a detail-driven individual to support group-level financial reporting, consolidation, and regulatory compliance within a listed or multi-entity environment. This role offers broad exposure across consolidation, board reporting, regulatory disclosures, and financial planning, working closely with senior finance stakeholders and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review group consolidation entries, including mapping and elimination adjustments for subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures.
- Compile group-level financial schedules, including hedge accounting and treasury-related reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review financial submissions from business units and JV/ Associates to ensure consistency with group reporting standards.
- Assist in half-yearly SGX results announcement, SGX compliance checklists and investor relations presentation decks.
- Support monthly performance reporting, including flash results and analysis of group financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of board and management presentations, providing clear financial insights and commentary.
- Contribute to half-year and year-end financial reporting cycles, including regulatory announcements and audited financial statements.
- Participate in group budgeting and forecasting processes, including coordinating timelines and supporting system uploads.
- Draft group-level budget and forecast materials for senior management and board review.
- Maintain and update group accounting policies and assess the impact of new or revised financial reporting standards.
- Liaise with external auditors on audit matters, accounting treatments, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial data and analysis for treasury and foreign exchange reporting, including scenario analysis and ad-hoc projects.
- Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives to strengthen reporting efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
Experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, or audit within a multi-entity or listed environment, preferably with experience in Real Estate / property development
Strong technical accounting knowledge with exposure to financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple reporting deadlines.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business units and external stakeholders.
