Assistant Finance Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Finance to support the Home's financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, proper accounting practices and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee donations received from various sources, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with relevant requirements.
• Prepare and process journal vouchers, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations for various bank accounts.
• Oversee asset management activities, ensuring proper maintenance of related records and documentation.
• Oversee the invoicing system in ECCareSuite.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of vendor accounts.
• Assist the Head of Finance in managing the full set of accounts.
• Assist the Head of Finance in preparing and submitting required documents to the Registry of Societies (ROS) and Charity Portal.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in handling a full set of accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Meticulous, well-organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of investments, Net Asset Value (NAV), ECCareSuite and Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) systems will be an added advantage.
