Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Finance Manager at Hi-P Precision Technology Pte. Ltd., you will oversee daily financial operations, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and timely financial management.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Supervise and manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.

2. Maintain a full set of accounts in accordance with relevant accounting and regulatory standards.

3. Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.

4. Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecasts and collaborate with various departments.

5. Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory filings, including GST and tax returns compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

6. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders on financial matters.

7. Support ad-hoc finance projects, management reporting, and other assignments as assigned by management

8. Support internal reporting requirements and provide financial insights for management decision-making.

9. Demonstrate Independent accountability and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) will be an advantage

2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a finance supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

3. Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements

4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be an added advantage

5. Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments

7. Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
