Job Description

Our client, a well-established organisation in the logistics and supply chain sector headquartered in Singapore with a strong global presence, is seeking to hire an Assistant Finance Manager to join their growing regional finance team.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing group consolidation and financial reporting activities across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance within a dynamic regional environment.

This position offers strong regional exposure across multiple markets, along with opportunities to drive process improvements and contribute to finance transformation initiatives within a fast-paced and collaborative organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly group consolidation across multiple entities
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Lead month-end close activities, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of the general ledger across jurisdictions
  • Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure alignment across entities
  • Manage and review fixed asset accounting, including capitalisation and depreciation processes
  • Partner with regional finance teams and shared services to ensure reporting consistency
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP optimisation initiatives
  • Support external audits and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, with professional accounting qualification preferred
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience within group accounting or regional finance environments
  • Hands-on experience in group consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and intercompany accounting
  • Experience working within multi-entity or regional business structures; audit background will be advantageous
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
