Job Description

. Industry/ Organization Type: Private Education

. Working Location: Redhill (Near MRT station)

. Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9.30 AM - 6.30PM)

. Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $5,500

. Duration: Permanent

Accounting and Financial Management

. Maintain the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

. Oversee daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping activities for sales, purchases, receivables, and payables.

. Review quarterly GST filings, CPF submissions, and other tax compliances.

. Manage month-end and year-end closings, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, bank reconciliations, and audit schedules.

. Update cash flow reports and review journal entries for month-end closings.

. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage fixed asset records.

. Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders to ensure statutory compliance.

Group matters:

. Assist CFO in group financials

. Preparation of quarterly/half yearly financial reports

. Assist CFO in SGX reporting and compliance matters, including half year and full year financial results announcements

. Assist CFO in drafting the Annual Report of listed holding company

Fee Protection Scheme and Compliance

. Manage the implementation and monitoring of the Fee Protection Scheme in line with regulatory requirements.

. Liaise with the corporate secretary on statutory submissions, including resolution preparation, ACRA filings, and maintenance of corporate registers.

. Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and that financial policies and procedures are adhered to.

Administrative and Operational Support

. Administer payroll processing, CPF submissions, and staff benefits.

. Process invoices for payment and refunds to customers, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

. Support operational administrative tasks such as providing bank statements and processing financial documents.

. Assist in purchasing, report typing, invoicing, and other admin-related activities.

. Register trainees in the TPGateway system and manage grant disbursement.

Ad-Hoc Duties and Collaboration

. Support and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures.

. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

. Degree in Accountancy or any relevant qualification.

. Prior experience with EduTrust Private Education Institutions (PEIs) or SSG Registered Training Providers is an advantage.

. Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.

. Proficiency in accounting software like SAP, QuickBooks or similar.

. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
