Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Compile supporting schedules and liaise with auditors and tax agents for audits, filings, and submissions.
Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
Handle bank postings, reconciliations, payments, journal entries, and maintenance of financial schedules.
Administer GST filings, submissions, and claims in accordance with Singapore regulations.
Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
Assess foreign exchange exposure and support hedging strategies where required.
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Track actual performance against budget and prepare variance analysis with actionable insights.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making.
Implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance matters.
Set KPIs for the finance team and ensure timely and accurate delivery of outputs.
Lead, coach, and develop finance team members, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and results orientation.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and identify cost efficiencies.
Support ad-hoc finance duties and special projects as required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, ideally within the marine, offshore, or engineering industry.
Strong working knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, GST, and tax laws.
Proficient in ERP accounting systems SAP experience is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work independently while effectively managing team and stakeholder expectations.
