About The Company

Our client, a well-established, highly reputable and a rapidly evolving listed group with an extensive portfolio of entities across the region. They are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join and lead their dynamic team.

About The Job

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will take ownership of the financial and management reporting for a dedicated group of entities, ensuring the timely and accurate closing of accounts. In this dynamic role, you will drive financial visibility by preparing annual budgets, monthly cashflow projections, quarterly forecasts, and in-depth analytical reviews of monthly and quarterly variances. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements, managing quarterly GST and annual tax submissions, and ensuring strict adherence to local statutory guidelines, accounting standards, and SGX/MAS requirements. Acting as a key point of contact, you will also liaise effectively with internal and external auditors, tax agents, trustees, and external service providers, while tackling various strategic ad-hoc projects to support the broader business objectives.

Skills And Experience Required

Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation

Relevant years of progressive accounting experience in a similar position

Prior background in a real estate environment is highly preferred

Track record in handling full sets of accounts, GST returns, and corporate tax filings

Strong understanding of statutory requirements and regulatory compliance within a listed environment

Skilled in preparing statutory financial statements and XBRL filings

Adaptable and skilled in coordinating with external auditors, trustees, and tax agents

Responsible, meticulous, motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to drive alignment in a dynamic setting
