What youll do:

As an Assistant Finance Manager based in Singapore, you will be entrusted with a broad range of responsibilities that span statutory compliance, audit support, tax management, general ledger activities, accounts receivable/payable functions, and more. Your day-to-day work will involve maintaining precise accounting records according to established policies while managing complex closing activities throughout the financial year. You will serve as a key point of contact for both internal teamsacross departments and regional officesand external partners including auditors and tax agents. Your ability to multi-task efficiently under tight deadlines will be crucial as you navigate audit preparations, respond to queries swiftly, compile financial statements with meticulous attention to detail, and ensure all regulatory filings are completed accurately. In addition to these core duties, you will also take on ad hoc assignments related to accounts receivable/payable processes or other accounting tasks delegated by senior leaders. Success in this role hinges on your capacity for clear communication across diverse teams and your commitment to upholding confidentiality at every stage of the finance process.

  • Maintain accurate accounting records in strict accordance with corporate policies, ensuring all entries are compliant with relevant standards.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly General Ledger closing activities for the Singapore entity, including revaluation processes, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, OneStream reporting, balance sheet reviews, bank reconciliations, IFRS adjustments, preparation of management reports, dividend distributions, and loan repayments.
  • Provide comprehensive support during audits by preparing schedules, responding promptly to queries from auditors, compiling confirmation requests, drafting financial statements and notes to accounts, completing standard forms such as statements of significant contracts or contingent liabilities, related party transactions documentation, directors interest disclosures, management representation letters, and XBRL filings.
  • Determine computation of Estimated Chargeable Income for tax prepare detailed tax schedules and collate necessary handle queries from tax ensure timely completion of all tasks to meet strict filing deadlines.
  • Assist in all direct and indirect tax matters for the Singapore entity including corporate tax submissions, Australian VAT processing, Singapore GST filings, withholding tax documentation, ACAP ensure accuracy and timeliness in all filings.
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks relating to Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable as assigned by senior provide dependable support for transactional processes as needed.
  • Undertake any other accounting-related duties as assigned by Senior Managers or the Corporate D demonstrate flexibility in adapting to new responsibilities as required.
  • Safeguard confidential information at all times by managing sensitive data professionally and ethically within the finance function.
  • Multi-task effectively under pressure while meeting all statutory filing timelines without compromising quality or accuracy.
  • Communicate clearly with team members across various departments and regional offices as well as external stakeholders such as auditors, bankers, and tax agents.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications alongside hands-on experience using ERP Systems for financial operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current accounting standards applicable within Singapores regulatory framework.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with colleagues at all levels across departments and regions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multicultural teams while demonstrating sensitivity towards diverse cultures.
