Responsibilities:
1. Business Development Support
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals and presentations for marine cargo insurance products.
- Coordinate with brokers and clients to gather necessary information for underwriting.
- Maintain and update client and prospect databases.
- Support marketing initiatives and campaigns to promote marine cargo insurance solutions.
2. Policy Processing & Administration
- Handle issuance of marine cargo insurance policies, endorsements and certificates.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and follow up on pending documentations.
3. Carry out duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree holders in Insurance, Maritime Studies or related discipline.
- Preferably with minimum 5 year working experience.
- Prepare to take up Certificate In General Insurance (CGI) exam if required.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
- Possess good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Able to multi-task, is a team player, conscientious, tactful, customer-focused and willingness to learn new skills.
