JOB DESCRIPTION :
. Supervise daily operations, train and lead staff in maintaining a clean Hotel
. Involve in strategic planning and provide direction for the entire department to progress.
. Review daily and monthly manpower schedules
. Schedule and approve staff annual leaves, public holidays and overtimes.
. Conduct daily briefing
. Maintain working equipment and cleaning supplies.
. Requisite and maintain optimal stock level.
. Ensure Lost and Found properties according to set procedures.
. Coordinate with the relevant departments to manage guest requests, inquiries, and complaints related to accommodations, services, and billing-ensuring timely and effective resolutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
. Work in close collaboration with the Respective Department to promptly resolve any defects or maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
. Oversee pest control activities with a strong focus on detail and hygiene standards.
. Liaise with the Maintenance Department to implement and monitor a preventive maintenance schedule for guest rooms and public areas
. Perform regular spot checks on staff performance, addressing errors or areas of improvement promptly.
. Coordinate with contractors on existing projects or new assignments. Recommend items to be written off and new purchase
. Organize and lead regular training sessions to ensure staff are well-versed in standard operating procedures, while also addressing concerns, assigning duties, and reinforcing high service standards.
. Any other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
. Diploma in Hospitality Management or other relevant qualification is preferred
. Minimum 5 years related experience
. Commitment to work rotating shift including weekends and public holiday
. Meticulous with strong attention to details with good follow-up
