Assistant Engineering/Production Manager

Cleveland Tungsten (S) Pte Ltd is a niche manufacturer and supplier of Tungsten contacts and Tungsten related products.
We have a global reach and supply to customers including Japan, Korea, China, Italy, India, and USA.
We command a lion's share of the world market for Tungsten contacts for the car horn manufacturers all over the world.
As part of our strategic review, we are looking for a marine engineer to join our team as an Assistant Engineering Manager and/or Assistant Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities and functions:
- Oversee the efficient operation of all the critical machinery and equipment such as pumps, furnaces, and rotary swaging machines in the production line.
- Actively support the GM and production manager in achieving production goals and target.
- Be part of management team effort to improve productivity, process yields and product quality.

Key Requirements:
- The candidate should have a minimum diploma in Marine Engineering and a Second Class Marine Engineering Certification.
- He or she should be able to go hands-on to identify and solve problems arising from production, process, and equipment.
- He or she should have a good knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance.
