Assistant Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, valves) to ensure safe and reliable operations.

• Assist in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment in accordance with technical drawings and workplace safety standards.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults maintain proper documentation of maintenance records.

• Support preventive maintenance planning and implementation to minimize equipment downtime.

• Adhere to workplace safety regulations, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance or related field.

• Proficient in the use of mechanical tools and measuring instruments.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Basic English to support workplace communication and documentation.

• Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required by operational needs.
