Assistant Engineer

The Assistant Engineer assists in overseeing the maintenance and servicing regime of port equipment. He/She supervises a team of Technicians and Senior Technicians to carry out maintenance in accordance with specified schedules.

The Assistant Engineer adapts and applies engineering techniques in trouble-shooting and repairing port equipment. He/She works closely with the Engineers/Senior Engineers in the implementation of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) technology in the ports.

The Assistant Engineer demonstrates initiative in assigned tasks and is able to work well with others in a team environment, providing inputs and identifying bottlenecks to propose improvements to the organisation's workflow.
