Assistant Engineer

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Able to understand construction drawing.

AutoCAD proficiency will be a plus point but not compulsory.

Able to use MS office package.

Able to understand the need to schedule / planning so as to keep up the master schedule for main con / factory.

Calculate usage of resources, such as labor hours, materials and tools, and other costs to make comparison with budgets and report prognosis to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.

Able to handle suppliers, liaising and coordinating with all parties involved in the projects.

Able to discuss / relate simple technical issue on site or in the meeting with the consultant / main con / M&E etc.

Support the Engineer in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

Tracking and updating status of submitted documents.

Oversees equipment installation works and upholding safety management.

Coordinate, monitor & execute site activities.

Assist in preparing the necessary documents for Installation/FAT/T&C.

Co-ordinate with Site team for site inspections, document progress, and report any issues or deviations to the project management team.

Any Ad-Hoc duties Assigned.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree or relevant certification in Engineering.

Entry-level candidates welcome experience is a plus.

On-the-job training provided.

High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality and safety.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and performing effectively under pressure.
