Purpose of the Role
The Assistant/Engineer, Maintenance Execution (Mechnical) will be focusing primarily on ensuring that ARLANXEO's plant equipment is maintained to a high level of reliablity and performance, so as to ensure the smooth operations of the plant.
Job Description
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local legislation, statutory requirements and regulations as well as Corporate guidelines while performing related duties and all other related works.
- Ensure that Arlanxeo employees as well as contractors perform maintenance related work in a safe manner in compliance with HSE practises with all applicable permits to work in place.
- Provide prompt and timely response to requests for assistance to meet operations expectations with regards to equipment mechanical issues.
- Implement preventive maintenance plans for mechanic equipment, working close with planners and others supervisors in area of responsibility.
- Provide technical support to resolve mechanical problems either directly or through accurate identification of a problem and participating in RCA together with asset engineers
- Perform SAP PM Tasks, MI, troubleshooting, repair for all Plant equipment with the support of the team(s).
- Support unscheduled/emergency or schedule plant shutdown as required.
- Liaise with maintenance planners, asset engineers and other supervisors to improve PM schedules.
- Reduce corrective maintenance in area of responsibility.
- Develop work procedures in the area of responsibility.
- Propose improvements of installation and utilize the Arlanxeo Management of Change (MOC) process including proper documentation of the change.
- Improve efficiency of maintenance execution and time-on-tool data.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry or Diploma holder with 10 years maintenance experience Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry preferred.
- Working knowledge on design and maintenance of both Static & Rotating Equipments.
- Working knowledge of Industrial standards such as API, ASME etc. for both Rotating & Static Equipment.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook and SAP systems.
- Self-confident and able to work independently with minimum supervision but also, a good team player.
- Good interpersonal, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
