Assistant Engineer / Engineer (RTR)

Job Summary

Join our RTR (Reel-to-Reel) team in a hands-on engineering role thatoffers valuable exposure to process optimization, troubleshooting, yield improvement, equipment performance, plating chemistry control, NPI support, and continuous improvement. Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Reel-to-Reel (RTR) electroplating processes and equipment to ensure stable production.
• Monitor and optimize key plating parameters, including current, voltage, line speed, temperature and chemical concentration.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
• Improve yield, quality, productivity, and process stability through continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process trials, and production ramp-up activities.
• Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Coordinate with customers on process-related issues and activities, when required.
• Maintain relevant ISO documents, SOPs, and process records.
• Support internal & customer audits, and engineering change implementation activities.
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Working experience or exposure in Reel-to-Reel (RTR), chemical processes, semiconductor manufacturing, or precision engineering is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, or continuous improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work in a hands-on manufacturing/production environment.
