The job involves hands-on and supervisory responsibilities in maintaining and supporting communication systems, sub-systems and workshop level repair in accordance with maintenance instructions/procedures. The engineer will ensure system readiness and reliability through scheduled maintenance and technical support functions.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Perform routine and ad-hoc maintenance on communication systems, sub-systems, and related components, including workshop-level repairs, following established maintenance instructions and procedures.
Workshop & Equipment Management
- Maintain calibration, functionality, and availability of tools, test equipment, and test jigs required for maintenance and repair operations.
Preventive Maintenance Planning
- Manage, coordinate, and execute preventive maintenance schedules for assigned systems to ensure uptime and operational effectiveness.
Technical Support & Training
- Provide on-site and remote technical support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfers to internal teams or customers when necessary.
Stakeholder Communication
- Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding maintenance issues, service quotations, invoicing, shipment tracking, and documentation handling.
Peripheral Duties
- Support additional engineering and administrative functions as required, contributing to team success and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of related working experience in Electronic Systems Maintenance.
- Possess strong Knowledge and Skill for Repair of Electronics Cards & Modules.
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills
- Experience in Network, Routers, Servers, Computers, etc., is advantages.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication & listening skills.
- Willingness to learn. To work as a team.
- Possession of a valid Class 3/3A driving license is preferred
