Assistant Engineer

Job Description

• Your main role is to perform troubleshooting and repair works for the Refrigerated Container (Reefer) in PSA Terminals (including on board vessel).

• Coordinate with Control Supervisor to perform VAS services (including of reefer monitoring & plug/unplug of sensitive reefer) when required.

• Carry out equipment improvement works to improve equipment reliability and safety according to manufacturers specifications.

• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas.

• Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor/ Manager.

Job Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Refrigeration/Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent.

• Team player and able to work independently

• Willing to work on 12hr-shift and outdoors

• Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply

• Class 3 driving license would be an added advantage
