ASSISTANT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
• Support the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Assist in basic feasibility studies and preliminary cost estimates for electrical systems.
• Ensure assigned work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, civil, and software engineers under supervision.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing corrective solutions.
• Support installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Assist in maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (required).
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Engineer-in-Training (EIT), or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Understanding of circuit design, PLCs, power systems, or control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
