Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Electrical Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of on-site electrical works. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Electrical Engineer and project team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Support the Electrical Engineer in overseeing and supervising on-site electrical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulations
- Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient project execution
- Participate in site meetings and technical discussions to address issues and maintain alignment with project objectives
- Monitor daily electrical activities to ensure work is completed according to schedule and meets quality standards
- Assist in the procurement of electrical materials, including coordinating with suppliers and verifying order accuracy
- Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet required specifications and are delivered on time
- Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly progress reports on site activities and project status
- Communicate project updates, issues, and potential risks promptly to the Project Manager
- Track project progress against timelines and proactively identify and help resolve delays
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering ora related field
- Licensed Electrical Engineer (preferred but not required, depending on local regulations)
- Minimum NITEC in Electrical Technology (Power & Control) or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Able to commit to OT as and when required on weekdays & weekends.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience
