[What the role is]
To strategise and implement AI fluency training efforts under TeSA (TechSkills Accelerator), with multiple stakeholders (e.g. professional bodies, government agencies, leading companies, IHLs, training providers, NTUC).
[What you will be working on]
Key Responsibility:
Lead the upskilling efforts in AI for the tech workforce in Singapore
- Strategy, Research, Programme Conceptualisation, Goals Setting
- Lead a team reporting to the Deputy Director to set the CET strategy, conduct research and analysis with industry and training partners, conceive programmes and set KPIs (contributing to the National AI Impact Programme).
- Operations: Implementation, Marketing and Comms, Outcome/Impact Monitoring, Reporting, Audits
- Lead the identification of quality partners, new projects with partners, training plan development with companies/IHLs/training providers
- Lead internal IMDA project approvals, project implementation, trainee and partner account management, own marketing campaigns and maintain CET website with live partner links, track outcome indicators for impact measurement, conduct regular reporting, support audits with internal and external auditors.
- Resource Development and Management
- Drive CET budget requests.
- Manage CET budget and manpower resources at programme level
- Plan and conduct regular training for officers, with IMDA Academy where applicable
- Data, Business Re-engineering and Digitalisation
- Collect and organise programme data, visualise and analyse data dashboards
- Conduct regular BPR to rethink processes
- Build and maintain digital systems as product owner, where applicable
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
- As a talent solution architect, background or fast learning ability in emerging technologies especially in AI, applied AI x domain experience is preferred, as the tech workforce is distributed across tech and non-tech sectors.
- Experience in the tech industry or a public sector organisation in industry development and manpower policy & planning, complex and large-scale end-to-end programme implementation, engaging senior leaders in companies, would be advantageous.
- Ability to foster collaborations within teams, organisations and amongst multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to masterplan, connect dots and networks, frame issues strategically and translate these into tangible, implementable programmes.
- Experience in building and leading teams of officers of varying skillsets and leading/co-leading in cross functional teams for various thematic workstreams.
- Agile and able to adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to communicate persuasively, clearly and effectively with range of stakeholders including senior decision makers, colleagues, industry stakeholders and members of the public.
