Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this position oversees the strategic oversight, enhancement, and day-to-day governance of all physical assets and built environment functions.

The role leads end-to-end execution of infrastructure initiatives, driving projects from initial concept through to delivery. Responsibilities include shaping long-term development plans, preparing financial forecasts, conducting viability assessments, coordinating design processes, managing procurement activities, and ensuring successful project implementation.

The position also manages critical building systems and outsourced partners, including integrated facilities services, automation and control systems, fire safety infrastructure, and security surveillance. This involves monitoring contractor performance, upholding service quality benchmarks, and ensuring facilities remain fully functional and operational at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee facilities-related initiatives, including project execution, tender processes, and asset enhancement proposals.

  • Supervise and coordinate external service partners, covering integrated facilities services, building systems, fire safety systems, and surveillance solutions.

  • Lead and manage the facilities maintenance workshop to ensure efficient operations.

  • Ensure all statutory inspections, licences, and certifications are completed promptly in line with regulatory requirements, maintaining full compliance with applicable authorities.

  • Offer technical expertise and advisory support to the management team on facilities-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related built environment discipline.

  • Certification as a Fire Safety Manager will be an added advantage.

  • Green Mark or other sustainability-related qualifications are preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience, with a demonstrated history of leading and delivering facilities operations and services within MICE, hospitality, or logistics environments.

  • Hands-on experience in refurbishment, upgrading, or redevelopment works.

  • Familiarity with local building codes, as well as environmental, health and safety regulations in Singapore.

  • Innovative problem-solver for operational and project challenges.

  • Experienced in project leadership and negotiation.

  • Knowledgeable in building management and project systems.

  • Flexible to meet business needs, including varied working hours.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Capable of performing inspections at heights safely.
