Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Assistant Director of Facilities Management & Development is
responsible for the planning, development, and management of infrastructure and facilities across Suntec
Singapore.
The role encompasses leading projects from concept through to completion, including the development of
master plans and budget proposals, planning, feasibility studies, design development, tender preparation
and evaluation, purchase requisition, and overall project management.
In addition, the role is responsible for managing key facilities systems and service providers, including
Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire Protection Systems
(FAS), and CCTV. This includes overseeing vendor performance, ensuring service delivery standards, and
maintaining operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead facilities projects, tenders, AEI business cases.
- Manage facilities suppliers which includes but is not limited to IFM, BMS, FAS, and CCTV service providers
- Manage the Facilities Maintenance workshop
- Ensure timely follow-up and completion of all required building inspections and certifications in accordance with local authority requirements (e.g. BCA, PUB, SCDF), achieving full compliance with prevailing government regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the Management team

- Be physically fit to climb up ladders for inspections of assorted infrastructure and building systems at heights
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Building-related studies
- Fire Safety Manager Certification is advantageous
- Green Mark or Sustainability-related Certifications is advantageous
- At least 8 years of experience and proven track record in successfully leading and managing similar facilities and services in the MICE, Hospitality or Logistics Business
- Experience in renovation and remodeling projects.
- Knowledge of Singapore Building Regulations, Environmental Health and Safety requirements
